IT Generalist

The IT Generalist plays an integral part in facilitating the day-to-day functions of the church for both office and ministry environments. We are seeking someone who is interested in growing their IT career and expanding their skillset to provide IT services spanning a wide variety of situations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A dynamic and growing relationship with Christ, and lives in accordance with Christian values.
- Experience with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
- 1-2 years of experience in general computer usage and troubleshooting.
- Interest in learning about the ever-changing technology landscape.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience with basic tools such as: screwdrivers, wrenches, and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Continually maintains professionalism, even during urgent situations and high levels of activity.
- Strong aptitude for balancing competing priorities and triaging situations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and maintain user lists for servers, email, ticketing, etc.
- Repair, at a basic level, the physical network(ethernet cables, access points, etc.), end-user computer operating systems and software, server hardware and software, and other network-attached hardware.
- Handle all software maintenance: OS updates, software bundle updates, patches, cleaning of system drive, etc.
- Configure new systems from scratch, including but not limited to Computers, Physical Networks, and Wireless Networks.
- Perform physical installations including but not limited to Cameras, Network Cable, TVs, Video Cabling, etc.
- Implement new software systems to assist the productiveness of the staff.
- Provide helpdesk assistance.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
