Small Groups Pastor

Location: Riverside Campus, Albuquerque, NM
Sagebrush is seeking a full-time Community Groups Pastor to join our staff! This pastor will work with the Executive Director of Groups & Assimilation to provide vision, direction, care, and support to 100+ community groups and group leaders who are connected to the Riverside campus. This individual will help ensure that group leaders are well-discipled, group content is approved and effective, and group assimilation is seamless. This individual will also provide progress reports to the executive team to share wins, losses, and needs of the ministry while collaborating with other group areas and leaders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Maintains a Christ-centered way of life that aligns with Sagebrush beliefs and mission.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a pastoral role preferred. Volunteer as well as staff-level experience will be considered.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. In lieu of a related degree, a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect to others and build rapport quickly.
- Ability to learn and use various software such as text messaging programs, email, and Planning Center Online.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan ahead and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work well on a team and with other departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide oversight, leadership, direction, and support to the groups ministry.
- Train, guide, and support the community groups leadership team.
- Ensure community groups programming is biblically sound and effectively building disciples.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure our discipleship pipeline works well.
- Ensure that data and processes in the ministry are effective, efficient, and accurate.
